SAWS issues weather alert for KZN on Wednesday

The South African Weather Service has issued a level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms and heavy rains in some parts of KZN on Wednesday.
Forecaster Thandiwe Gumede says disruptive rain will be expected in some eastern parts of the province from the afternoon.
Gumede says this could lead to localised flooding.
"The impact that we are referring to in this case are localised flooding for formal and informal settlements.
"Low-lying roads and bridges, difficult driving conditions which can be expected mostly on dirt roads and minor motor-vehicle accidents that can result to due to poor visibility as will as slippery roads."
