SAWS confirms no snowfall in KZN, but brace for intense cold front
Updated | By Newswatch
The South African Weather Services (SAWS) has dampened any hopes of seeing snowfall in KwaZulu-Natal.
The weather services says we shouldn't expect any blizzards, for now.
"The snow is not expected over KZN this weekend. However, there is a possibility of snow over the Lesotho mountains this weekend," says SAWS forecaster Wiseman Dlamini.

SAWS says, though, certain parts of KwaZulu-Natal will experience an intense cold front over the weekend, with some areas dropping to at least 10 degrees.
This has prompted the local government to place disaster management teams on stand by.
