Sashni Daniel home after three-month hospital stay

A KZN woman who sustained severe head injuries after being hit with a brick during a protest in Shaka's Head is home after spending three months in hospital.
27-year-old Sashni Daniel had been driving along the R102 in February - when bricks were thrown at her car - allegedly by protesters.
One of the bricks shattered her windscreen and hit her on the head - leaving her with a fractured skull, three blood clots and internal swelling.

Daniel was rushed to hospital where she was put on life support and has undergone multiple surgeries for the last three months.
Her father, Kovi Daniel says the community has come out to help the family renovate their home as Daniel is wheelchair bound.
