Sardine season: KZN Sharks Board on latest

The KZN Sharks Board is hopeful more sardines will move up from the south coast in the next week or two.
The board’s Mike Anderson-Reade says about 10 crates of sardines were netted off Umgababa, south of Amanzimtoti yesterday.

Earlier in the week, the fish were netted at Isipingo, Winkelspruit and Rocky Bay. Anderson-Reade says it has been difficult to track the sardines this year as predators have not been spotted following them.
