Safety MEC condemns murder of traffic official

KwaZulu-Natal Community Safety MEC Bheki Ntuli has condemned the murder of an Estcourt traffic official.

The senior officer, was on his way home from work in Midway on Monday, when he was ambushed and shot execution-style.

Ntuli says an AK47 rifle is believed to have been used by the attacker.
"This brutal killing comes at a time when it is Transport Month and we are busy trying to say to people they must obey the rules of the road and people that are assisting us in doing that are our RTI officers and
"We would like the police to do whatever they can do to get hold of the perpetrators."
