SADTU condemns murder of KZN pupil
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Teachers union Sadtu says they are disgusted and disappointed to hear of the murder of a pupil at the hands of a former teacher in northern KZN.

This after the teacher was arrested in connection with the kidnapping and murder of missing 12-year old boy this week.
Lwazi Andile Tembe was last seen on 30 September when he left his home to visit his school teacher to assist him with schoolwork.
After not retuning home the teacher was brought in for questioning- who denied ever inviting the school boy.
Provincial spokesperson Nomarashiya Caluza says their members have gone to visit the family.
"The incident itself, whether by a teacher or anyone else, is unacceptable. This is something society needs to come together over in order to educate communities about such incidents", she said.
Meanwhile, Lwazi's mother, Pretty Tembe, says the entire family is still dealing with the loss of their son. She strongly believes the suspected teacher had an accomplice.
"I'm not happy with the arrest, because I do not think he could have done this alone. Looking at the distance from his house to the sports field where Lwazi's body was found, it is evident that he had some sort of help", she said.
"I say this because this is not the first time where boys from my community have been killed in this manner in the past two years", Tembe said.
