Sadtu clamps down on KZN 'principal posts-for-cash' syndicate
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
The South African Democratic Teachers Union (Sadtu) says it's begun clamping down on what it believes is a syndicate behind the buying of principal posts at schools.
The teachers' union says it's received several complaints, including from KwaZulu-Natal, of posts-for-cash.
Sadtu's Mugwena Maluleke says it's not yet clear who's behind the ring.
"It is a syndicate that works together with the school governing bodies and people in the districts and that in itself is depriving our children."
