Hundreds of teachers affiliated with Sadtu have marched through central Durban on their way to City Hall.
They are complaining about a number of issues, including the KZN Education Department's alleged failure to fill important posts.
Teachers from schools across the province have been joined by Cosatu General Secretary, Edwin Mkhize. They are singing struggle songs and songs for change as they make their way towards Dr. Pixley kaSeme Street.
