SACP reacts after Janusz Walus' parole dismissed
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
The South African Communist Party says it will go ahead with its legal plans to oppose Chris Hani's killer Janusz Walus' parole.

The High Court in Pretoria today dismissed with costs Walus' application to be released on parole, pending an appeals process against his release.
Justice Minister Michael Masutha lodged a petition with the Supreme Court of Appeal to challenge an earlier High Court decision to grant the Polish immigrant parole.
The SACP's Alex Mashilo says today's decision is an important step towards true justice for Hani.
"We believe that Janusz Walus and Clive Derby-Lewis have not made full disclosure of the truth. They could not have been alone in executing the murder of Chris Hani. A murder that pushed our country to the brink of civil war," he said.
