Investigations are underway into an alleged human trafficking case which led to local authorities intervening to bring a South African woman back home.

The 24-year-old from Bloemfontein had said she had been lured to Malaysia to take part in a modelling competition she'd entered on Facebook.
Police Minister Fikile Mbalula says Princess Mahlangu arrived back safely yesterday.
"We're delighted to have you back home, Princess. Remember, you did nothing wrong. You are a genuine victim. Use your experience wisely, spread the news about the dangers of the internet or organised activities you have come across," he says.

She and 14 women from various countries were rescued in an operation conducted with the assistance of the SAPS, members of the Hawks, Interpol and Malaysian authorities.
One person in Malaysia's been arrested.
