SA will take years to recover from energy crisis: Economist
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
An economist says it will take several years to undo the energy crisis the country finds itself in.

Dawie Roodt who is with the Efficient Group says the same goes for related factors such as the economy, investment and livelihoods.
Roodt has been weighing in after the utility reintroduced stage 6 loadshedding last week.
"Because of the actions of the ANC government, South Africa is in a really horrible place at the moment. I'm afraid because of the lack of electricity, the economy is not going to grow this year, we will have higher levels of unemployment, poverty and I'm very concerned about public violence,” said Roodt.
He added, “It took them 30 years to bring the country to where it is today and we are not going to fix this overnight. Its going to take us a long time to get SA back to where it was previously."
