SA Tourism to take action after Tottenham Hotspur sponsorship leak
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
SA Tourism has promised to find and take serious action against the person who leaked documents of the mooted R1 billion Tottenham Hotspur sponsorship deal.

The entity addressed the nation on Thursday following an outcry from South Africans who said the money could be better spent elsewhere.
Defending the deal, SA Tourism said the sponsorship agreement will have a positive spin-off for local business and the economy.
SA Tourism CEO Themba Khumalo has promised there will be consequences for those who leaked the deal to the media.
"Documents that are discussed inside of a board environment are confidential documents and it is a breach of the book charter and a breach of conditions of employment to leak documents outside of the due process.
"The applicable processes will be followed and should the actor of the leak be identified the relevant remedies will be available to the board to address it."
