SA sees boost in COVID-19 recoveries in last 24 hrs

213 more people have died in South Africa, after contracting COVID-19, bringing the national death toll to 44

New infections in the country have climbed by just over 4 525.
The cumulative cases identified now stand at 1 453 761.
The total number of recoveries has seen a boost.
More than 1 299 620 people have beat the virus - boasting a recovery rate of 89%.
Meanwhile, the number of active cases in KwaZulu Natal stands at over 46 260.
The cumulative number of #COVID19 cases identified in SA is 1 453 761 with 4 525 new cases identified. Regrettably, 213 more COVID-19 related deaths have been reported. This brings the total to 44 164 deaths
