SA sees another increase in Covid-19 cases

There was a daily increase of 947 new Covid-19 cases reported on Thursday, another increase in infections.

Statistics were released by the National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD), who says that this number of cases is higher than the day before.
It's also higher than the average of new infections recorded over the previous seven days.
It's a representation of a 2.7% positivity rate.
Forty more Covid-19 related deaths were also reported bringing the cumulative number of fatalities to 88,506.
