SA reports second virus death, cases reach 1 280

A 74-year-old KwaZulu-Natal man has died in hospital after contracting COVID-19.
National Health says this brings the coronavirus death toll in the country -- to two.
South Africa entered day four of a national lockdown on Monday - to break the transmission of the virus.
The number of infections in the country has climbed to 1 280.
In a statement released on Sunday night, Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize says the man - who is from Ladysmith - travelled with his family to the Kruger National Park this month.

Mkhize says he came back from his vacation with flu-like symptoms and tested positive for the respiratory disease on Friday.
The man was admitted into hospital with symptoms of respiratory distress, shortness of breath, cardiac failure and a high temperature.
Mkhize says the man also had an underlying skin cancer condition which complicated the situation.
He was then placed in ICU on a ventilator where he later died.
His family, as well as 14 healthcare workers and three doctors who treated him, are currently in quarantine and being monitored.

Meanwhile, the number of cases in the province has increased to 167 from 134.
Gauteng still has the most confirmed cases with 584.
