SA puts best slipper forward
Updated | By Portia Cele
Slipper Day was launched by the Reach for a Dream Foundation in 2011 with hopes to assist children that are fighting life-threatening diseases.
The campaign was expanded after the inaugural drive was a success, raising R175 000 in KZN - it is now a nation-wide initiative.
The organisation's aim is to raise R4 million in funds this year.
Another major upcoming event that will be hosted by Reach for a Dream is the Dream Riders initiative which will see cyclists take on the Momentum 947 Cycle Challenge on August 27.
