Durban musician jailed in Australia apologises

Umlazi-born hiphop artist, Simiso Zwane, who performs as OkMalumKoolKat, has issued a statement on Twitter apologising to his fans.
Zwane has returned to South Africa after serving a month-long sentence for misconduct and sexual assault in Tasmania, Australia.
The musician had reportedly entered the hotel room of a fellow artist who was also on tour and assaulted her.
During the trial, the presiding magistrate had described the incident as a 'gross invasion.'
He was sentenced to six months in jail with five months suspended. Taking to Twitter, OkMalumKoolKat said he was 'sincerely sorry' and wished to move on with his life.
