SA coronavirus cases jump to 116, local transmission rise

The total number of infections from COVID-19 has passed the 100 mark in South Africa.
The Health Department confirmed this morning that the country now has 116 confirmed cases.
The figure's gone up by 31 since last night's announcement.

KwaZulu-Natal's tally is up to 19 - with another three people testing positive for the coronavirus.
All three men are in their fifties and had been to Italy - one of them also travelled to Austria.
Gauteng's reported 16 new cases and the Western Cape, 10.
"Today we have a further increase of 6 local transmission cases," it said in a statement.
