Robbers target Msunduzi call centre

Msunduzi Municipality says its call centre in Pietermaritzburg is up and running again following a robbery.

The city says a gang stormed the facility over the weekend, taking employees' belongings, including cell phones.
Spokesperson Lulamile Mapholoba says none of the staff were hurt.

He says workers were sent home to recover from the trauma, and the centre had to close for two days.
"A case has been opened. We also sent our security. We are also receiving counselling from our employment assistant unity because some of them were emotionally affected."
The city says security has been beefed up.
