Robbers posing as security guards hit Pavilion jewellery shop

Police are searching for an armed gang that hit a store in the Pavilion Shopping Centre, making off jewellery.

Four suspects targeted Narandas Jewellers on Sunday afternoon.
SAPS spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says reports from the scene are that two robbers were dressed in security guard uniforms.
"At gunpoint, they removed the jewellery from the shelves and there were shots that were fired by the suspects at the parking lot, but no injuries were reported. A case of business robbery has been opened for investigation."
