Roaming Edenvale tiger recaptured

Authorities in Edenvale, east of
Johannesburg have managed to track down and recapture a
tiger that went missing on Monday morning.

The big cat was spotted in a CCTV footage roaming around the premises of an office building.
The search for the tiger was extended to a veld between Eastleigh Ridge and Greenstone.
Operations manager at security company Swat SOS 24/7 Gary Wilson says the tiger has been sedated.

"Units have assisted in locating and capturing the tiger in Edenvale. The animal has been sedated and taken to a sanctuary for safekeeping. No further information will be given at this time."
About two weeks ago the search for Sheba, an 8-year-old female tiger, came to an end after she was found in Walkerville and euthanised.
