Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The South African National Roads Agency has called on motorists to be patient on the roads this Easter Weekend.
Traffic from Johannesburg to Durban is expected to peak.
Eastern Region Manager, Logashri Sewnarain says about 2500 vehicles are expected to enter the province - as people kick into holiday mode.
Motorists have again been urged to abide by the rules of the road.
"On the section of the N3 - toll road as well - we had a lot of head-tail collisions, vehicles that left the road and vehicles that rolled.
"Also, when there's cold weather conditions - we ask drivers to slow down accordingly and keep a safe following distance," she said.
