Risk of #LoadShedding remains high for this evening
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Eskom says the risk of load shedding remains high for this evening, but insists that any rotational blackouts will only be implemented if absolutely necessary.

The power utility says it has not implemented load shedding this morning. Power cuts were activated between 5pm and 10pm last night.
Eskom said in a statement earlier that the electricity system remains constrained, adding that there is a high probability of Stage 1 load shedding this evening.
"Eskom and organised labour will meet at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration today to resolve the impasse. We are hopeful that all parties will put South Africa first as we endeavour in finding an amicable solution," read the statement.
"The South African Police Services continue to maintain order and enable safe access to power stations as these are National Key Points."
Officials say customers will be advised if load shedding will be implemented later, and according to which stage.
