Richards Bay teacher shot dead at home

Police have yet to make any arrests after a Richards Bay teacher was killed yesterday.
The police's Nqobile Gwala says the teacher, who taught at eNtongande Secondary School - was shot multiple times at his home yesterday while preparing for end of year exams.
"He sustained gunshot wounds to the body and died on the scene. The motive for the killing is still unknown. No arrests have been made as we speak. A case of murder has been opened for investigation at Richards Bay," she said.
The killing comes several days after the acting deputy principal of Nomyaca High School in Eshowe was shot and killed while leaving school for home.
His memorial service will be held tomorrow at the Empangeni Civic Centre.
