Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Cooperative Governance Minister, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma says the revised COVID-19 regulations for religious gatherings will not be limited to the Easter weekend.
Dlamini-Zuma made the remarks at a virtual address to the media on the regulations.
It comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that 250 people would be allowed indoors and 500 outdoors at church services.
He said in venues that are too small to accommodate these figures, 50% of the capacity of the venue will be allowed.
Dlamini-Zuma says these regulations will be in place for the next two weeks before they are reviewed.

"These numbers will continue but Health will evaluate how the infections are going. If they continue going down we will continue with these numbers. But if they go up there will be a review."
"The President said they will be a review within 15 days so the Health Department will keep monitoring the numbers."
