Updated | By Xolani Khumalo
The University of KwaZulu-Natal has a new chancellor.
Dr Reuel Khoza was officially installed at a ceremony held at the Westville Campus on Wednesday.
He's previously chaired the boards of several companies and entities and also served as a director of the JSE and other institutions.
Khoza says he is deeply humbled by his appointment.
"May I, at the outset, express my deepest sense of gratitude to the University of KwaZulu-Natal for deeming it fit and appropriate to invite me to be chancellor of this esteemed institution."

"I consider it a singular honour and an exceptional privilege."
Khoza takes over the chancellorship from retired Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng.
Mogoeng stepped down from the position last year, a few month before the end of his term at the institution.
