Residents reach out to help Shaka's Head families

The minibus taxi they were travelling failed to observe a stop sign at the N2 exit to Shaka's Rock.
It went crashing down an embankment and landed on railway tracks, before it was hit by an oncoming passenger train.
Sixteen people have died due to the accident.
Resident Jessica Galloway, who works with community organisation, Ballito Helping Hands says after she heard about the accident she wanted to lend a hand.
"I just thought, let me get some of the community members together an, some of my friends and see what we can can do and it's just grown from there. I honestly had no idea the response would be like this. I am absolutely blown away. I'm staring at my office now and it's covered in clothing, food and nappies and just more than we could ever have asked for. It's been absolutely amazing," she said.
For more information on what is needed, as well as drop-off points you can visit the Ballito Helping Hands Facebook page.
