Residents flee homes in Burnwood protest
Updated | By Natarah Nadesan
Dozens of foreign nationals were driven out of their homes in Burnwood, by protesters who'd threatened to harm them.

"They say they have been thrown out and chased by people that they've been living among. There is a sense of shock that these people have turned against them."
KZN police say the protesters began threatening community members from around 2am today.
That's when officers were alerted and moved in, escorting more than 40 people to the Sydenham police station.
No case has been opened yet and no one's been taken into custody.
Meanwhile, Satish Dhupelia who's with the Community Policing Forum says women - with babies in their arms - were among those who had to flee their properties.
Dhupelia says right now, they're doing what they can to support the families - by supplying them with food and baby items.
