Rescued cats won't be put down: Kloof SPCA
Updated | By Zongile Mthimkhulu
The Kloof and Highway SPCA says no animals removed from the Mazarat Rescue Kennels have been put to sleep.

The SPCA has been commenting after some reports and social media groups claimed the animals removed from the shelter earlier this week would be put to sleep if new homes are not found for them.
The SPCA's Barbara Patrick confirms no animals will be put down.
''Not one animal has been moved from there. The 19 cats that were removed from the property are here at the SPCA, they're in kennels and they are enjoying the grass. They've got clean water, food and litter trays.
''The cats are all being checked by the vet on a regular basis as quite a few of them are unwell,'' she said.
See the two reports that have caused confusion below.
