Report corrupt officers: Durban Metro
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Durban's Metro Police are appealing to the public to urgently report any officer who asks for a bribe.

This after a Durban resident claims a private driver was coerced into paying a R150 bribe near Phoenix yesterday.
The resident alleges the officer told them their driver and vehicle were unlicensed.
The fines amounted to R2500 and R800 respectively.
The man says the officer demanded cash which the driver paid.
eThekwini's Steve Middleton says corrupt officials must be reported immediately.
''We are asking the members of the public to please come forward with at least a name of the officer and if they can't get the name specifically, they'll be there with a vehicle and as long as we have a vehicle registration number we will take action,'' he said.
