Relief for motorists as fuel price cut expected
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
KwaZulu-Natal motorists can expect to pay less at the pumps from next month.
The price of petrol is expected to drop by 12-cents a litre for petrol, 36-cents for diesel, and 33-cents decrease for illuminating paraffin.
The Automobile Association of South Africa's Layton Beard says the Rand has improved against the Dollar since the new year.
He says the price could still fluctuate though - depending on the economy and international oil prices.
"If the rand continues to firm slightly, and international product prices continue with their trajectory - we may continue to see decreases going into the next couple of months," Beard said.
