Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Experts are expecting a rise in fuel prices next in November.

The Automobile Association says based on mid-month data from the Central Energy Fund, diesel users can expect a steep price increase of R1.60 a litre.
Petrol is likely to cost between 41 and 51 cents more a litre.

The AA’s Layton Beard says this is mainly due to higher international oil prices, and to a lesser extent, the weaker rand.
"While these figures may change, we don’t expect a reversal; prices are still likely to go up in November. For now, it’s just the quantum of those increases that is at question now."
