Updated | By Andrew Robertson
A relative of an Ulundi mother and her young son has been arrested on suspicion of murdering them.
KZN police say tenants of the house the victims lived in, returned yesterday and noticed an unpleasant smell.
They found the suspect at the home and had an argument with him about rent.
The tenants, who are pupils at a local high school later found the body of 25-year-old Siphesihle Magwaza covered with a blanket with feet bound.

"A search for the child was further conducted and the deceased child, Owami Magwaza (5) was found outside in the garage packed in a green bag.
The baby boy had also sustained multiple stab wounds all over the body and his throat was slit. Both the victims and the suspect were staying in the same house."
