Police Minister Bheki Cele says officers are ramping up their searches to recover goods stolen by looters during last week's unrest in KwaZulu-Natal.
Law enforcement teams, acting on tip-offs, have seized items and made arrests at places like Mtubatuba, Umlazi and in Durban's Point area.
Cele's visited businesses affected by the looting in KZN on Monday and inspected the security plans of malls like the Gateway Theatre of Shopping and the Pavilion Shopping Centre.
