Record royal reign
Updated | By Sky New, ECR Newswatch
Queen Elizabeth the Second will officially open the Borders Railway in Scotland today - as she marks an historic milestone.

She's today become Britain's longest reigning monarch - having served for 63 years and 216 days - eclipsing the record of her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria.
The Queen will leave Edinburgh on a train drawn by the steam locomotive called "Union of South Africa".
Sky's Royal Commentator Alistair Bruce says Prince Philip has played an important part in her longevity.
"If you've always got to be the symbol of steadiness in a time of alteration then I think having somebody beside you that you can really share every thought with must be particularly special when you're in the lonely role of being a monarch," he said.
