Updated | By ECR Newswatch
The producer of a Durban docu-series, that is now a Simon Sabela award holder, says there's growing interest in local stories and in the film industry in KZN.
Durban Beach Rescue, a 12-part series, details the experiences of real-life lifeguards and their daily challenges across Durban beaches during the busy festive season.
Producer, Jacintha Timothy, says support structures such as the KZN Film Commission and local award ceremonies further expose the work of local productions.
