Minister of Cooperative Governance Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma has gazetted the amended Covid-19 regulations.
The publishing of the regulations follows the announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa on Monday evening that cabinet has given the green light to the lifting of the national state of disaster.
The amendments include the dropping of masks when outdoors or attending outdoor events and the hotel and lodges allowed full capacity accommodation.
