An endangered species of rhino has been seen for the first time in 40 years in Borneo, Indonesia.
The Sumatran rhino - the smallest of two Asian rhino species - was spotted by conservationists in Borneo, Indonesia.
The WWF has described this as a landmark conservation success.
In a statement, the CEO of WWF Indonesia said that now having proof that a species once thought extinct exists, the organisation will work to strengthen efforts to protect it.
Captured on Tuesday, the female rhino has now been moved to a more secure location.
The Sumatran rhino is the smallest of five species of rhino worldwide. It's the only two-horned rhino in the region and is characterised by a hairy exterior.
Asia is home of the Javan and Sumatran rhino which are both critically endangered.
