The Inkatha Freedom Party says it instructed one of its councillors in KZN to resign immediately in the wake of rape allegations.

The Alfred Duma councillor is accused of assaulting a 14-year-old girl in Zakheni township.
The party says it received information about the alleged incident over the weekend.
It has confirmed the public official has since stepped down.
The IFP says it's also following internal disciplinary procedures.
It has stressed that gender-based violence will not be tolerated within its ranks.
"As the IFP, we would like to state clearly that if and when we are made aware of this type of serious accusation, we do not hesitate to take decisive action," says spokesperson Mkhuleko Hlengwa.
"The IFP continues to advocate for justice for victims of GBV, and to offer support to victims of these crimes, as well as their families."
