Ramokgopa confident load shedding will ease by December

Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says he's confident that continuous load shedding will be reduced by December.
Ramokgopa made the remarks during a visit to the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Johannesburg on Saturday.
The minister engaged with the Gauteng Health Department, and the hospital's management, on the impact load shedding has had on their operations.
"We are looking at an additional 2 00 megawatts - it is about the speed at which the market is able to respond to the call for emergency power. If we have that plus 4 000 emergency power including the demand we are going to see substantial low levels of load shedding.”
