Ramaphosa, Zuma face off in court

President Cyril Ramaphosa and Jacob Zuma are facing off again in court.

The High Court in Johannesburg is hearing arguments in the challenge brought by President Cyril Ramaphosa against the private prosecution instituted against him by his predecessor.
Zuma accuses Ramaphosa of being an "accessory after the fact" in a matter relating to his arms deal trial.
The former president claims that state prosecutor Billy Downer leaked a copy of his medical records to the media - which he denies.

In January, Rampahosa was granted an interim interdict to halt Zuma's attempt to privately prosecute him.
"Whatever issue he has about this that or the other, the criminal court would have to deal with it, so for someone to just try and run a parallel court system is absurd, it is an abuse of the legal process,” said the spokesperson for the Jacob Zuma Foundation, Mzwanele Manyi.
