"The strong arm of the law is now about to pounce on them because we will not allow South Africa to be lawless, to have people who are running around on a rampage destroying the economic assets of our country."
Over the last few days, more than a dozen heavy-duty vehicles have been set on fire, allegedly by armed gangs in KZN, Mpumalanga, Gauteng and Limpopo.
In the latest incident, four trucks went up in flames this morning on the N2 between Piet Retief and Ermelo in Mpumalanga province.

Ramaposa says law enforcement agencies have been instructed to find the arsonists.
"Those who intend to sabotage the economy of our country - to have their way, we will go after them and they will face the full might of the law. I have directed the police supported by other security agencies to spare nothing, but to do all they have to do to find these people because South Africa cannot have people like that."
