Ramaphosa 'to respond' to Arthur Fraser allegations - Presidency
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
The presidency has confirmed that President Cyril Ramaphosa has been informed about allegations made against him by the former State Security Agency director Arthur Fraser.

On Wednesday, Fraser opened a criminal complaint with Rosebank police against Ramaphosa, accusing him of kidnapping and bribing robbers who stole more than $4 million from one of his properties in Limpopo.
According to Fraser, in February 2020, burglars broke into the farm with the help of a domestic worker, where they found and stole cash.

Fraser has accused the president of organising the "kidnapping of suspects, their interrogation on his property, and bribery".
Presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya said the president was in a cabinet meeting when the news broke on Wednesday afternoon and will communicate in due course.
