Updated | By Lauren Beukes
President Cyril Ramaphosa is to start testifying at the State Capture Commission this morning.
He's been called to give evidence at the inquiry, over two days this week, in his capacity as leader of the ANC.
Ramaphosa's expected to be questioned about his tenure as deputy president of the party and country, and to give an account - amid controversies swirling around the wealthy Gupta family and lucrative contracts with SOEs.
Speaking ahead of his appearance in Parktown, Johannesburg, Ramaphosa did not mince his words when he detailed how South Africans should respond to corruption and corrupt leaders.

"If those who claim to serve you are not doing so, vote them out, take them out, because that is the one weapon we all have.
“Demonstrate to them that you do not approve of the way they are running things, if they are stealing money, vote them out and take them out. If they are abusing resources take them through the vote.”
Delivering the country's annual Freedom Day address from the Free State - the President said South Africans are still being deprived of basic services, 27 years into democracy.
