Ramaphosa to sign NHI Bill into law 'soon'

President Cyril Ramaphosa says he'll sign the
National Health Insurance Bill into law soon.
The proposed legislation was passed by the National Council of Provinces in December.
During his State of the Nation Address in Cape Town, Ramaphosa said the NHI will provide free coverage in public and private facilities. The controversial bill seeks to achieve universal healthcare for all South Africans.

"The bill has arrived on my desk. We plan to incrimintality implement the NHI dealing with issues like the health system financing, the health workforce, medical products, vaccines and technologies."
