Ramaphosa calls for stability, says govt "at war with itself"
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa says that government has heard the people's concerns, especially the call for a more stable leadership.
Speaking at the 21st annual National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC) summit in Boksburg today, Ramaphosa hit out at a government which he claims is "at war with itself."
The deputy president said South Africa was not an island operating alone, and that government can only exist if there’s better collaboration within its ranks.
He added that all citizens deserve more from their government than open-conflict between different institutions of state.
Ramaphosa urged all South Africans - including government role-players - to continue to put the country first.
