Ramaphosa: ANC cannot be airbrushed out of existence
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
President Cyril Ramaphosa says those who
believe the African National Congress can be airbrushed out of existence are
wrong.

Ramaphosa addressed the party's 112th birthday celebration in Mpumalanga on Monday.
"Now, throughout this entire period, the ANC was at the steering wheel. It was the leader of this whole process of enabling us to achieve our freedom. The ANC, which led this whole process, had embedded itself in the hearts and minds of the people."
He said the party was formed to serve the people of this country.

"Through trial and tribulation, through ups and downs, we were able to prevail as the African National Congress, and we were able to overcome the 342 years of colonialism and apartheid.”
Ramaphosa is due to deliver the party’s January 8 Statement on Saturday.
