Ramaphosa to address nation on Tuesday evening
Updated | By Newswatch
President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation at 8pm on Tuesday on developments in South Africa’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ramaphosa’s address comes amid a sustained downward trajectory in Covid-19 deaths and infections over the past few months.
However, experts have warned that the 5th wave could hit the country as soon as next month.
Government’s vaccination campaign has also hit somewhat of a wall - with only 30% of the population inoculated against Covid-19.
Ramaphosa will reportedly announce the scrapping of masks outdoors and allow stadiums to accommodate larger crowds.
