Rain, thundershowers forecast for areas in KZN

There's a 30 to 60 percent chance of rain forecast for parts of KwaZulu-Natal this evening, with more rain expected this week.
The SA Weather Service says they anticipate severe thunderstorms over areas in Harry Gwala, Uthukela, Umgungundlovu districts as well as Umvoti Municipality - with possible heavy downpours leading to localized flooding.
"Going into tomorrow, it's looking quite good in terms of rainfall. We are expecting 60% chance of some showers and thundershowers across the province with the areas over the western and northern KZN likely to get some severe thunderstorms in the afternoon," forecaster, Julius Mahlangu said.

The greater Durban region will have normal rainfall.
Mahlangu says areas in the South Western part of the province will experience slightly cooler temperatures, tomorrow.
"This includes areas around Harry Gwala, Kokstad, Harding, Umzimkhulu, Underberg, and Giant's Castle - temperatures in those areas will drop about few degrees."
