Rain, cold spell throughout Monday night, SAWS says

KZN residents are being told that there'll be cool to cold conditions coupled with rain over the province on Monday.
South African Weather Service forecaster Thandie Gumede says the cold snap is expected over areas over the western high ground, including Lady Smith, Giant Castle, Newcastle, Kodstad, Underberg and adjacent areas.
"In terms of rain for today, the province has seen some rain falling throughout the course of the day.
"We are anticipating the showers and rain to continue throughout the night into tomorrow, with higher chances of rain expected for areas along the south coast and adjacent interior with some light rain expected for the rest of the province today."

Gumede says there'll be cloudy conditions will persist on Tuesday with a possibility of mist over areas in the Midland and western high grounds.
Gumede says there's a 30% chance of showers and rain on Tuesday.
"It is destined to clear from the southern parts of the province by late morning and then it clears as the day progresses, with some chances still expected even in the evening over the northern interiors of KwaZulu-Natal.
"Temperature-wise for tomorrow, it will still remain fairly cool to cold and we will only start seeing an improvement in temperatures from late Wednesday into Thursday."
